Plant Bio

Goeppertia ‘Pink Star’

Calathea Pink Star is a new selection bred in Europe that features wonderfully colorful foliage. It’s an improvement over older varieties of Goeppertia roseopicta in that the pink variegation remains vibrant for a longer period before fading to silver. It impressed our Plant Hunter during the testing process enough that we added it to our collection in 2022! Like other calathea varieties, it does best with even moisture and hates drying out and arid air.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.
